Welcome to the Rock Ledge Inn Cottages. We are pleased to have you as our guest on your visit to the beautiful Lake Erie region!
The following is information regarding your stay. To see specific information and photos about each individual cottage, click on the corresponding photo links to the left. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable!
LAKE FRONT: Please exercise caution when crossing the street and please cross at the sidewalk in front of the inn. The steps leading down to the water are in front of the table across the street. All other decks and steps are private.
LAKE SWIMMING: Swimming in the lake is at your own risk; there are no lifeguards available.
POOL: The pool is currently for private owner use only. However, there are several pay-per-day pools in the area, and we can provide you with that information. Most places charge around $1.00 per day, but in return give you a coupon for that amount at their concession stands.
LAUNCH RAMPS: We are just minutes from a variety of launch facilities. Just down the road is the state launch ramp on Moore’s Dock Road which will put you in on the west side of Catawba—good for heading to South Bass Island, West Sister or other islands nearby. There is also a state launch ramp on NE Catawba Road (SR 53) into West Harbor, which is closer to Kelley’s Island, Marblehead Lighthouse and Cedar Point. There are many transient dockage facilities also available, and we will be happy to provide you with phone numbers and locations.
VISITORS: Only registered guests are allowed use of the facility and grounds. If you are expecting any visitors during your stay, please see the owner and have them registered prior to their arrival. All guests will assume responsibility for their visitors.
OVERNIGHT GUESTS: No overnight guests will be allowed without prior and specific arrangements; for example, registration made with the owner.
SMOKING POLICY: All of our cottages are smoke-free. For the enjoyment and comfort of all our guests, all smokers are asked to please limit smoking to porches & decks, and please pick up all cigarette butts from the area before checking out. Common grounds areas are also smoke-free out of respect for our other guests. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
PETS POLICY: We do not allow pets in cottages or on the property. Thank you for your understanding.
GARBAGE: Please remove all trash from the cottage prior to departure. Trash bins are conveniently located behind the old cottage and garage at the center of the yard. For your convenience, there are additional trash bags in the bottom of your trash cans.
EMERGENCIES: Dial 911, then please notify the office at 877-994-7625 as soon as possible.
CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 12 Noon.
No need to return your key to the office. You may leave the keys in the cabin, but please make sure the heat and/or air-conditioning are turned off.
